Now this is more like it, Peugeot. This scoot has more attitude than a dog with two sets of balls. Don’t get me wrong, I saw the point of the basic Ludix idea, but that frame and styling literally cried out for the full Monty. Looking even more like an extra from a sci-fi movie than a basic Ludix, the Blaster is terrific fun to ride on and a great way to get from A to B. Worthy of the Sports Scooter section.

Wearing the PGO badge the TR3 is based on their T-Rex scooter but sports a third wheel at the rear, a differential is fitted to aid cornering, also boasts a reverse gear. The overall width is 880mm - apart from said features, it is basically the same as a T-Rex. Those riders with disabilities that qualify for a grant may be able to save money on this scooter. Styling has been worked on and brought up to date. A vast improvement on the first Bi-Wizz that hit these shores. Produced in France by MBK who are owned by Yamaha. Beta’s mini/maxi scooter is not a bad looker in the styling department. Minarelli LC motor, Paioli gas shock, twin disc brakes and low profile 13in tyres. Acceleration is good when de-restricted, but the top speed, comfort and practicality of some rivals are all sadly lacking. Team Eikon colours are now in the range to appeal to a younger audience.

As well as an established dealer network they are offering a year’s TPF&T insurance with new CPI scooters for only £99, as if the budget price tag, and usual features weren’t enough.
